Madhur Bhandarkar felicitated at the Indian Film Week in Russia

National Award-winning filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar has just returned from Russia where he had been to attend ‘The Indian Film Week’ that was held from 25 November to 3 December. The festival, organised by the Indian Embassy, Moscow, in association with the Jawaharlal Nehru Cultural Center, Moscow, screened two films of Bhandarkar namely Heroine and Page 3 among others. On the occasion, Bhandarkar was honored for his contribution to Indian Cinema by the Indian Ambassador to Russia Ajai Malhotra in Moscow. While in the country, the reputed director also made his presence felt in Moscow and Voronezh (another city in South of Russia). On return, the director is readying himself to helm T-Series’ next Mar Jawaa that is set to roll early next year.
