MUMBAI : Even months after the movie's cinema release, talk over Ranbir Kapoor's performance in the 2023 release Animal is still going strong. Comparing the industry to a "blood sport" where actors' highs and lows are always in the public eye, Bhatt offered a frank opinion. He emphasized that entering this industry requires one to be open to receiving both positive and negative feedback.

“That’s also part of entertainment… It is a blood sport. You get into the arena and there will be people celebrating you falling down and there will be people celebrating you triumphing. So that’s a part of it,” he said, reflecting on the nature of fame and public perception.

Bhatt, who has seen the industry evolve over decades, acknowledged that Ranbir chose this path with full awareness of its challenges. He pointed out that while performers are few, most people are mere spectators, often quick to judge. “The world ultimately belongs to the creators,” Bhatt asserted, adding that it takes immense courage to be a performer. He also emphasised that criticism is an occupational hazard in this line of work. “You stand in the sun, you get sunburnt,” Bhatt concluded.

Actor Arshad Warsi recently discussed Animal on social media and complimented director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and star Ranbir Kapoor for producing what he called a "masterpiece." Warsi praised the filmmaker's innovative world, saying it was unlike anything he had ever seen, in an interview with Samdish on UNFILTERED.

Regarding Ranbir Kapoor, he is currently preparing for his upcoming major part in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, where he will play Lord Rama. Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman, Yash as Raavan, and Sai Pallavi as Sita are also featured in the eagerly awaited movie. March marked the start of filming, and Mumbai operated at full capacity. Veteran actor Indira Krishna has also confirmed that she will play the part of Kaushalya in this epic two-part movie.
