Maruti International's Super Nani to release on 1 May

Producer-director duo Ashok Thakeria and Indra Kumar have announced that their upcoming film Super Nani would release on 1 May 2014 after the release of two biggies namely Prabhu Dheva’s Ajay Devgn starrer Action Jackson and Vipul Shah’s Holiday, got shifted from the above date. Confirmed Thakeria, “We were aiming for a vacation release. Since the movie has children as its target audience, we wanted to release Super Nani after the exams are over; so May is an ideal month. And since the two big films got pushed we thought of taking advantage and locked 1 May for the release of Super Nani.” Super Nani, made under the banner of Maruti International, is a heartening tale of a relationship between a grandmother and her grandson and how the young grandson played by Sharman Joshi inspires his nani (Rekha) to do what she always wanted to do with her life. In short, the film, a light-hearted movie, has a strong message of women empowerment in which Rekha discovers her true strength with a little help from Sharman.
