Meera to play Zeenat Aman's daugther-in-law in Dunno Y 2

Meera
Meera, who debuted in the Indo Pak film Nazar in 2005, is back in a role a la Vidya Balan of Ghanchakkar in Dunno Y Na Jaane Kyo 2. The film is said to be a light, breezy romantic comedy, unlike the original that was a serious drama, this time produced by a Norwegian production house The Hungry Hearts. The Pakistani beauty will essay the role of Zeenat Aman's daughter-in-law in the film. "Meera's character, Zahra, is very interesting," reveals Norwegian director Tonje Gjevjon. "Zahra is a Pakistani from Lahore, beautiful, glamorous and hot-looking. Her character is very 'chatpata' and has emotion as much as its comic moments. We needed a beautiful actor who would do justice to the role," she adds. Observes Meera, "It's a sweet role and I have one bhangra and a Norwegian song. The look is traditional as well as western. I dress up will be bit over the top but the script on the whole is very interesting. It is like a rollercoaster ride, you laugh, you cry and you travel with the protagonists. And that is what I love about the film." The film is being made in three languages, Norwegian, English and Hindi and will be shot entirely in Norway. Actors from Europe, India and Pakistan are being cast and a popular European male pop singer will have a cameo in the film. Like in the first film, Kapil Sharma and Yuvaraj Parashar will play the protagonist in the second part too.
