Fitness is an attitude, and who better than Milind Soman to prove this?
The dashing model-actor, who turns 50 this year, has bagged the prestigious Ironman title at a triathlon held in Zurich in Switzerland. Soman, on his maiden race, took 15 hours and 19 to finish it.
The triathlon was held on 19 July, and saw over 2,000 participants, including seven Indians. Of whom, five successfully completed the race.
The triathlon was organised by the World Triathlon Corporation and boasts of a 3.8-km swim, 180.2-km cycle ride, and 42.2-km run. It’s no wonder that it’s widely regarded as the world’s toughest race, which has to be completed in 16 hours by a participant to be eligible for the title.
Milind Soman, congratulations and take a bow! We hope you keep inspiring youngsters all over the world.
