MUMBAI: Ever since Shamshera was announced, fans have been looking forward to the teaser and trailer. Today, finally the trailer of this Ranbir Kapoor starrer was launched, and it has all the elements of a successful entertainer.

Directed by Karan Malhotra, this movie also has Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor along with Ranbir Kapoor. The trailer of the movie was launched at a press conference in Mumbai.

Ranbir Kapoor revealed that when he was coming for the trailer event, he met with a small accident and the glass of his car broke, but he will take this as a blessing that this movie will now become a hit. As we can see from the trailer, the actor will be seen in a never seen before character. Ranbir Kapoor revealed that he was bored of playing characters in his comfort zone, so he was looking forward to something different.

Ranbir Kapoor also revealed that 8 years back, no one thought that he could pull off characters like Rowdy Rathore or Dabangg, but now, he is getting angry characters like Shamshera, and fans will definitely love him.

Ranbir Kapoor does not leave a single chance to show his love towards his wife Alia Bhatt, and we have seen the same during the trailer event. We all know the famous line of the actor ‘Shaadi is like daal chawal for life’ from the movie Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Ranbir Kapoor said, “Alia Bhatt is daal Chawal mein tadka, achar, kanda pyaaz, everything.”

On the other hand, Sanjay Dutt will be seen playing a negative character in the movie. He was asked about similarities between character in this movie and in KGF 2.Sanjay Dutt said that the character in KGF 2 was far more intense. On the other hand, this character is fun but dangerous in a different way.

As we can see, many South movies are taking over Bollywood movies. On this comparison betwee the South and Bollywood, Karan Malhotra said that language is not important. The only important thing is the filmmaker’s conviction.
