When it comes to romance, one image always comes to our mind and that is of Shah Rukh Khan. He is known as the king of romance. We have seen the actor romancing his heroine on screen but there was one actor who also did a few romantic films in the 90s which was immensely loved by the audience. How can we forget movies like Shola Aur Shabnam, Love 86, and a few others which had created strong marks in the hearts of his fans.
Action

When it comes to action heroes, we get to see actors like Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Tiger Shroff, Vidyut Jamwal doing some amazing stunts in their movies. But in 90s Govinda also have done some great action movies like Hum, and Shola Aur Shabnam which were delivered by him.

Talking about the comedy genre, no doubt we have seen some fabulous performances by the actors Varun Dhawan, Varun Sharma, and Pankaj Tripathi. We have seen them in comedy avatar in different projects. But Govinda was the one name who used to do romance, action as well as some great comedy on the silver screen. In the 90s, Govinda did some superb comedy films like Deewana Mastana, Haseena Maan Jaayegi, Dulhe Raja, Hero No. 1, and a few others which had defined comedy over time.

When it comes to dance, Bollywood has only a few actors who can really dance on the silver screen like Tiger Shroff, Hrithik Roshan, and Shahid Kapoor. But talking about Govinda’s era, he was also known as the dancing star of Bollywood. Remember some of his fabulous dance number songs like Main Toh Raste Se Ja Raha Tha, I Am A Street Dancer, U P Wala Thumka, and many others which were the chartbuster songs of the actor.

But during the 90s, Govinda also played a few negative characters in his film like Shikari where he was also nominated for the best villain awards in the negative role at Filmfare Awards.
