MUMBAI: Somy Ali was in a decade-long romantic relationship with Salman Khan in the ‘90s. Somy has time and again spoken about being smitten by Salman after watching him in Maine Pyar Kiya. Somy recently told a portal, “It’s been 20 years since I broke up with him. He cheated on me and I broke up with him and left. It’s as simple as that.” The actress added that they both have moved on in their lives.

The Pakistani-American actress and filmmaker is presently famous for her social media presence and her nonprofit organization called ‘No More Tears’.

The actress enjoys a fan following of 14.5k followers. She has never failed to keep her views on topics out in the open, especially her sarcasm-filled indirect digs on the bhaijaan of Bollywood.

Well, Somy Ali has done it once again. The actress took to her Instagram story to throw shade on her ex (maybe Salman Khan) via a sarcastic post that had words like ‘dysfunctional’ and ‘narcissist’.

The post read, “Breaking up with a dysfunctional Narcissist is like waking up from a coma. You have to re-learn even the most basic things of your daily life This is because during the course of the relationship with your narcissist you were slowly, and methodically, being erased.” Is she pointing a finger at Salman Khan?

Somy said that she began dating Salman when she was 17. She travelled to India because she wanted to marry him. They eventually got into a relationship a year after she expressed her feelings for him.

Somy shot a film with Salman that was eventually shelved. During her brief stint in Bollywood, Somy worked in films such as Krishan Avtaar with Mithun Chakraborty, Yaar Gaddar with Saif Ali Khan, and Anth with Suniel Shetty.
