Alia Bhatt is going all out to promote her upcoming film Gangubai Kathiawadi. The actress in one of her recent interviews revealed that Ranveer Singh is her closest friend from the Industry.

MUMBAI: Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi is the talk of the town from the time the trailer of the film was launched. The actress is not leaving any stone unturned as she has been promoting the film. During one such promotional interview, she was asked about her bond and friendship with her Gully Boy co-star Ranveer Singh.

"We have been spending a lot of time together on the sets while shooting for the film. So, genuinely, I can say Ranveer Singh is my closest friend from the Industry. I don’t think I have made a closer friend in the industry in terms of actors. I have made friends with directors, but talking about the actors, he is genuinely a very close friend of mine. I do trust him a lot."

For the unversed, Alia Bhatt had worked with Ranveer Singh in Zoya Akhtar’s film Gully Boy. The film was loved by the audience for its unique content. It saw some amazing performances by Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, and Siddhant Chaturvedi. Talking about Alia and Ranveer, they will be working together again in Karan Johar’s next directorial film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. It will also see some amazing talents like Shabana Azmi, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Preity Zinda in pivotal roles. It will be produced by Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios and is slated to release on the big screen in February 2023.
