The Bollywood industry gives you a name. However, just like there is a bad side to everything, the Hindi film industry, too, has some negative vibes. Many Bollywood stars have opened up on the downsides of being a part of Bollywood. And one of the things is casting couch. The Padmaavat fame had shared that when he started out in the industry, he had to face the casting couch. The actor revealed that once a casting director had invited him to his home in Andheri. Without even looking at his portfolio or his work, he was made the offer to take and touch and be open. Ranveer had politely turned down the offer and denied it. Later he got to know that the casting director had made similar propositions to other struggling actors as well. He thinks it's a very bad practice.

The Dream Girl actor revealed that he was directly asked for a sexual favour by a casting director. How cheap? The actor had denied and had an interesting way to say no. " I was a TV anchor, so a casting director directly told me that I would have to do it. I told him that if I was not straight, I might have given it a thought, but I can't do it. So, yeah, the casting couch exists, but eventually, it's your talent or potential as an actor or performer which lasts. You don't need to give in to such stuff"  Ayushmann had expressed.

The Bollywood actress Kalki Koechlin stunned everyone when she revealed that a film producer asked her out on a date. When she refused, citing that she was already seeing someone, Kalki never heard back from the producer or anybody from the team for the role or the film. Kalki shared that whenever she finds herself in an uncomfortable position, she just walks out, without giving any attention.

The popular and bold Radhika Apte had faced the casting couch a lot of times in the industry. Once in an interview, the actress revealed that she was asked to sleep with the maker of the film. Radhika had laughed it off and asked the person to 'go to hell', indeed a smashing reply.

Pavitra Rishta 2.0 actress and late Sushant Singh Rajput's ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande revealed that while she was auditioning for a South movie, she was asked to compromise and sleep with the producer if she wanted the role. The actress instead chose to walk away, and deny the offer.

She revealed that filmmakers would often be invited for dinner and that she would later understand that the dinners included special favours as well. She felt it disgusting.
