It is reported that 2 States was first offered to Saif Ali Khan. Saif has worked with Karan Johar in films like Kal Ho Na Ho and Kurbaan. Karan thought that Saif was a great choice to play Krish Malhotra in the film. However, the actor refused, and the film then reportedly went to actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Imran Khan before Arjun Kapoor was recruited.

3. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai

A movie that speaks about love and friendship, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was immensely loved by fans. The character Rahul, which was played by SRK, was offered to Saif Ali Khan.
