MUMBAI: The buzz around Maddock Films’ Thamma just got a massive boost. Telugu superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni has given the film a glowing shoutout on social media, adding to the mounting anticipation ahead of its October 21 release.
Sharing his thoughts, Nagarjuna wrote, “#Thamma seems like the perfect blend of comedy, horror and romance, a perfect addition to the Maddock universe.” He also extended his wishes to the lead pair, Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, which has only heightened the excitement among fans.

Thamma is the newest entrant in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU) — the same franchise that delivered cult hits like Stree, Bhediya and Munjya. But this time, the universe takes a unique turn with its first-ever love story. Director Aditya Sarpotdar, fresh off Munjya, has called it a “twisted love story,” while producer Dinesh Vijan has hinted that Thamma will scale the universe bigger than ever before.
With Nagarjuna’s stamp of approval, audiences now have one more reason to count down the days to this Diwali release.
