MUMBAI: While OTT is blooming day by day, one complaint OTT viewers have is that there are very few content pieces which can be seen by the entire family together. Harsh Mayar, who essays the role of Aman in Gullak, is extremely excited and happy that his series has been received with so much love, and he too believes that one of the reasons Gullak is popular is because it's family-friendly content. While the actor expressed his happiness about the same, in a conversation with Bollywood Life, we asked him if he considers series like Panchayat as competition, as Jitendra Kumar's series, just like Gullak, is relatable, simple yet so beautiful.

Reacting to the above query, Harsh said, ''Awards don't change your career. It's just a thing that you are getting honored for your work, for your performance. You get work solely based on your current performance, on your craft. If you have the capacity to pull off a particular role, based on that merit you get selected. Yes, winning an award does feel extremely good. A lot of people said to me that winning a National Award is a dream of many which I got to live at such a young age. In fact, you know, after winning such titles, there's always a burden that you have to perform well, which in a way is good also. But yeah, winning an award doesn't guarantee you more work, at least in this industry.''
