Not upset with Boman Irani, says Dia Mirza

Dia Mirza who got married to her long-time beau Sahil Sangha was reportedly upset when senior actor Boman Irani didn't turn up at her wedding. It may be well be remembered that Boman had promised during Lage Raho Munnabhai that he would perform Kanyadaan during her wedding. However, Boman couldn't make it to Dia's wedding and the actress had to skip the ritual of Kanyadaan. Soon reports of Dia being upset at Boman started making headlines. The news report apparently troubled Dia who immediately clarified that she had no issues with Boman and his absence at her wedding. The newly married actress issued a detailed clarification through her publicist. Her letter has been reproduced below: Dear Friend, This is to let you know that Boman Irani is like a father to me. His absence at my wedding hurt him deeply, as is natural in a relationship that is cemented by deep affection and love.
