MUMBAI: People have opinions on everything and if they don’t like you or anything you’ve done they will tell you but it won’t be in the nicest way always. Recently the same happened to Mastaani of Bollywood Deepika Padukone. While Deepika Padukone rarely ever goes wrong with her fashion choices, but when she does, it ruffles some feathers. Following a photo of her at a private airport in Mumbai, the actress became the target of trolling on Monday evening.

A picture of Deepika wearing denim on denim turned up in her travel diary. Her denim jacket was oversized and paired with denim jeans in a slightly lighter shade of blue. Fashion enthusiasts may be envious of her outfit, but it was her choice of footwear that left netizens in shock. She was photographed wearing a pair of kitten heels. It was not just the heels that looked out of place with her denim on denim look that left many netizens unimpressed, it was the white socks as well.

Social media users trolled Deepika immediately after her pictures from the airport went viral. Social media users pointed out how odd her socks and heels looked in the comment section of popular photographer Manav Manglani's post.

With a shocked face emoticon, a user commented: "Socks and heels." A commenter wrote, "Why does she think socks with heels are style??" Yet another person asked, "What's the deal with the heels?" while another wrote, "Ranveer ke kpde pehen liye Didi."

And to be honest, sometimes fashion faux pas is allowed, especially if it’s Deepika Padukone.

On the work front, Deepika has an interesting film line-up ahead of her. The actress will be a part of Kabir Khan's 83 wherein her actor-husband Ranveer Singh is playing the role of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev. She will also star in Shakun Batra's untitled next and the Hindi adaptation of The Intern featuring Amitabh Bachchan.
