MUMBAI: Pooja Bhatt's spectacular Bollywood debut at the age of 17 with Daddy, earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Debutant. She even delivered two consecutive box office successes, Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin and Sadak, to complete her hat trick of successes. But the actress admits that the film industry considered her to have completed at the age of 24 when most stars began their careers in Bollywood.

Pooja Bhatt discussed her experience in Bollywood in a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan. She disclosed that she started working in the film business at the early age of 17 and that her first movie catapulted her to popularity. She was a superstar by the time she was 19 years old. She did, however, acknowledge that the industry had essentially written off her career by the time she was 24.
She said, "I was 17 when I did my first film, Daddy. After Daddy, Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin, Sadak was like a hat-trick. At 19 I was a superstar, by 24 the industry said, ‘Yeh toh khatam ho chuki hai.' So I said This is the only industry in the world where at 24, when most people are just starting out, you have reached the height of stardom, they have already brought you down to the pits saying you are finished."
Pooja Bhatt's recent stint on Bigg Boss OTT 2 won the hearts of millions of viewers. Her unwavering attitude and steadfast demeanor on the show undoubtedly won over everyone's admiration.
