MUMBAI: The Bollywood industry is such that anything and everything can be flashed in the news. Things can get viral and can set the internet on fire. A hug is a gesture to express your emotions but there have been instances when several Bollywood celebs had to face awkward moments while hugging the other person. For example, Bigg Boss host Salman Khan once had an awkward hug moment with contestant Sana Khan. Adding to one more example, in 2017, rumoured ex-couple Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma exchanged an awkward hug.

A hug is a very aww moment to communicate a feeling for someone else. When you fall short of words, giving a hug to your partner, or friend comes as a saviour. The papps are always ready to spot some awkward moments too. There are also times when a hug can be awkward and might look weird. There are many celebrity hugs that have given us awkward vibes.

Salman Khan- Sana Khan

It was during 2017, in an event actress and Bigg Boss contestant, Sana Khan was spotted with the host of the show Salman Khan and came forward to hug him. Salman also welcomed her with a hug but his closed fists and the shy smile grabbed the attention and many trolled the two. Sana had also commented on the same. 

Anushka Sharma- Ranveer Singh

This was amid the fashion show Anushka Sharma was seen talking with the media when suddenly her rumoured ex Ranveer Singh interrupted her and gave an answer on her behalf. Post which, the two hugged each other, but by Anushka's expressions, it seemed the actress was not happy with the interruption and it went to be awkward. 

Shilpa Shetty – Richard Gere

This was one of the worst went viral photos. One of the most awkward hugs of any Bollywood celebrity has to be of Shilpa Shetty. Actress shared a stage with American actor and humanitarian activist, Richard Gere and he couldn't control himself and pulled Shilpa for an impulse hug and kiss and the same led to several controversies. It was something very disrespectful.

Shah Rukh Khan- Vidya Balan

Shahrukh Khan and Hugh Jackman were present with actress Vidya Balan. Once, all three were present on the stage and the same led to an awkward hug. Both SRK and Huge hugged Vidya at the same time and the same looked a little awkward.
