MUMBAI: Actor Sneha Wagh's fans will have a hard time recognizing her in her next show Mere Sai. The actor feels grateful to be part of it. Sneha will sport a non-glamourous avatar and will wear simple cotton sarees and carry a cloth bag for the role.

‘I feel blessed to be part of such a beautiful show and I am hopeful of doing justice to my role, I am a devotee of Sai Baba and there have been instances where his blessings have helped me in difficult situations in life. A decade back when I was facing a lot of difficulties in my first marriage and nothing was going right, I was in immense pain. During that time, I visited Shirdi Sai Baba temple and prayed to the Almighty. I prayed that if this situation is not really my life, then take me out of it. Luckily with his blessings, I got out from my troubled marriage in a month.’

Talking about her role, she says, ‘I am playing Tulsa, who is the sister of Mhalsapati, a staunch devotee of Sai Baba. She is a mysterious character who has come to Shirdi and is a bit lost.’

She is also connected with the show in another way. ‘My late grandmother’s name was Tulsa and I was very attached to her. I was the first grandchild in the family so she loved me to the core,’ she says.
