Phalke Award to Jitendra, Kapil Sharma, Gautam Rode, Juhi Chawla, Hina Khan, Farhan Akhtar

Yesteryear jubilee star Jitendra would be presented with the Phalke Ratan award this evening when the 145th Dadasaheb Phalke awards will be presented at the Bhaidas Hall, Juhu. This was announced by Chairman Saawan Kumar Tak. Others who would be presented awards are Farhan Akhtar (best actor male Bhaag Milkha Bhaag), Juhi Chawla (best actress female Gulab Gang), Barkha Roy (Phalke different classic film My Friend Hussain) , Sunidhi Chauhan (best singer), Gautam Rode (best T.V. actor male, Saraswatichandra), Hina Khan (best actress TV Female Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai), Kapil Sharma (best TV Actor Comedy Nights with Kapil), Mrs. Salma Salim Khan (Saraswatibai Phalke Award) , Phalke Kalptaru Award (Rajshri Productions), best music award to Vanraj Bhatia and best film award to Rajeev Ruia (for Flame) . Hon’ble Governer of Maharashtra Shri K Shankar Narayanan will be the chief guest of the event. The event has been managed and directed by Harsh Gupta of H R Entertainment. Jagran Production Ltd is the associate sponsor of the award function. The function is being organised by the Dadasaheb Phalke Academy.
