As the actor celebrates his 71st birthday on 16th May, here is a fun fact for his fans. Did you know that he once shared screen space with veteran Hindi film actor Shashi Kapoor? The film we are talking about is The Deceivers which was produced by Ismail Merchant and directed by Nicholas Meyer.
Pierce played the lead role while Shashi Kapoor played a supporting role in the film. Kapoor portrayed the role of an Indian royal named Raja Chandra Singh. Even actors like Salim Ghouse, Neena Gupta, Rajesh Vivek, and Kanwaljit Singh were part of the film.
The film was embroiled in a lot of controversy and yet it failed to impress the audiences.
