Pirates of the Caribbean actor Tamayo Perry dies from Shark Attack

MUMBAI : According to Honolulu Emergency Medical Service, 49-year-old actor Tamayo Perry passed away on Sunday afternoon after being fatally attacked by a shark close to Goat Island in Hawaii. Perry is most known for his appearances in the motion pictures Pirates of the Caribbean, Blue Crush, and Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle.

The famous surfer headed out to surf in the vicinity of Mokuauia, which is near Laie, Hawaii. Relatives have stated that he was found dead at 1 pm. The event was reported by a caller who said they had seen a man on Malaekahana Beach, which is close to Kahuku, who appeared to have received shark bites. There were indications of several shark bites on Perry's body.

Emergency services arrived to Malaekahana Beach just before 1:00 pm. When lifeguards came, they used a jet ski to bring Perry to the shore. Following the passing of Tamayo Perry, star of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Ocean Safety officials issued shark alerts in the vicinity.

Honolulu mayor Rick Blangiardi described his passing as a "tragic loss," according to Hawaii News Now. He called Tamayo a highly esteemed person and a legendary waterman. Tamayo Perry was referred to by acting chief of Honolulu Ocean Safety Kurt Lage as a "lifeguard loved by all." He mentioned Perry's well-known status as a professional surfer on the North Shore and his international recognition.
