Police recover five diaries from Sushant Singh Rajput’s house; to summon all who were in touch with the late actor in last ten days

Police has reportedly recovered five diaries from Sushant Singh Rajput’s house.

MUMBAI: It’s been three days since we received the shocking news of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. The provisional post mortem report revealed that the cause of his death was asphyxia due to hanging, as confirmed by Abhishek Trimukhe, Deputy Commissioner of Mumbai Police (DCP) while speaking to ANI. But there have been calls from many parts to delve deeper into the reason for his drastic step. Recently the Home Minister of Maharashtra also tweeted that the police will look into every possible angle, including that of professional rivalry, in its inquiry.

A report in Pinkvilla states that some communication has been found on Sushant’s phone and all those who have been in contact with the late actor will be summoned. On Wednesday, the police summoned the director of the last movie Sushant Singh Rajput was a part of. The movie yet-to-be-released is Dil Bechara and the director Mukesh Chhabra recorded his statement.

Another report in Times Of India states that Mumbai Police has also recovered five diaries of the actor from his Bandra apartment and the contents of the diaries will be reviewed for any clues or leads. Maharashtra Home Minister, Anil Deshmukh had tweeted, “While the post mortem report says actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide by hanging himself, there are media reports that he allegedly suffered from clinical depression because of professional rivalry. Mumbai Police will probe this angle too.”

Meanwhile, Sushant Singh Rajput’s last rites were performed on Monday, 15 June, at Pawan Hans crematorium, Mumbai. His funeral was attended by his family members and close friends. Also spotted were Shraddha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Kriti Sanon, Ranvir Shorey, among others.
