Actress and columnist Pooja Bedi is never one to mince words. She’s perhaps the only actress in Bollywood who calls a spade a frigging spade. She took this another level when she called her latest step-mom an evil witch.
Her father and veteran actor Kabir Bedi married long-time girlfriend Parveen a day before his 70th birthday in a hush-hush ceremony.
The two, who have been together for nine years, decided to take the plunge on January 15. Even though his daughter from his first marriage to Protima was missing, she decided to take to a micro-blogging site to ‘wish’ her father and his new wife.
The biting tweet, which was later deleted, clearly tells us that Pooja is not fond of Parveen, who’s almost five years younger than the former. In order to rectify her mistake, she put up another tweet.
While talking to an online portal, the actress said, “My dad and I have had personal issues a couple years ago. They could have been sorted but they were seriously aggravated by the animosity between me and Parveen. I wasn't invited to the wedding."
Kabir Bedi has been married three times before. His first wife was the late Protima Bedi, an oddissi dancer. Followed by the British fashion designer Susan Humphreys. While his third marriage was to TV presenter Nikki Bedi. All his three marriages ended in a divorce.
