MUMBAI: Poonam Pandey is well-known for her bold photos and controversy. Once, an actress's bathroom video went viral on social media, shocking everyone. Pandey was seen dancing while having a shower in the widely shared video. YouTube later blocked this video. The actress has now stated that the footage was released by her former partner years ago.
Poonam Pandey addressed the leaked footage in a recent interview, revealing that one of her ex-boyfriends had uploaded it online. Poonam recalled her meeting and said she would never be able to forget it, even though she did not name that person.

“I still remember and I will never forget. We were indulged in a physical fight and I had to save myself. He picked up a trimmer and he wanted to trim my hair. So somehow, I managed to grab that. I somehow ran out of the room but I forgot to take my phone because I had to save myself. Then, I reached home. I spoke to my dad. I told him what all was happening and obviously, he saw me crying. He called the guy and said, ‘Kya kar raha hai tu mere bete ke saath?’,” Poonam told the popular news portal.
The actress recalled how her then-boyfriend threatened to leak her video but she did not believe him thinking he would never stoop this low. “He spoke to me from my dad’s phone and said ‘if you don’t come back, I will post a video on your Instagram page’. I am like, ‘I am not coming back’. He said, ‘You don’t believe me’. I swear on god, I never thought he would do that. I thought he would not stoop this low. You may be a beast but at least, you will have the decency that I am your girlfriend. He posted it,” she shared.
Poonam went on to say that what happened after the video was revealed was the "worst." She mentioned that her ex-boyfriend was receiving praise from his male friends even though she was dealing with the issue.
“The worst part. After him posting that video, he was getting calls from his guy friends, ‘tu toh rockstar hai boss’, ‘tu toh hero ban gaya’, while I was going through this mess,” she concluded.
Poonam Pandey is well-known for her roles in the films Love in a Taxi, The Journey of Karma, and Nasha. She also appeared in Lock Upp, Kangana Ranaut's reality program.
