Prachi Desai confident that Policegiri will do well

Prachi Desai, who essays the female lead with Sanjay Dutt in TP Aggarwal and his son Rahul’s Policegiri, the first look of which came before the public eye today, says although her co-star won't be there for promotions, she is confident that the film will do good business. Currently, Sanjay is in Pune’s Yervada jail where he is to serve his remaining jail term of three and a half years in the 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts case. As an opposite, Sanjay plays a tough yet charismatic police officer in the film directed by K.S. Ravikumar. Talking to Tellychakkar.com, Prachi said, "Everyone including the film's crew and the cast have decided to do their best for the success of the film. I am sure that there are people who love him for what he is and they will still go to the theatre to watch Policegiri after all that happened to their favourite star." Meanwhile, Prachi is excited about her look in the film. After being seen in ultra-modern look in her last release I, Me Aur Main, in this project her character is more colourful and approachable. “There is no particular look, but we have tried our best to keep it as young and colourful and as approachable for people," she divulged. Slated to release on 5 July (2013), Policegiri also features Prakash Raj and Om Puri. Besides, Salman Khan will be seen doing a cameo in the film.
