Priyanka Chopra's advice to 'newcomer' Shraddha Das

Priyanka Chopra and Shraddha Das
Stories of catfights between heroines abound in Bollywood. But it is perhaps rare to hear one actress accusing another of hitting her brutally and purposely with a stick all in the name of acting. Zid has been at the center of a similar ugly controversy with Shraddha Das accusing Mannara of hitting her repeatedly hard with a stick while enacting a scene. So distraught is Shraddha that she has vowed never to work with Mannara again. When Mannara was asked about her take on the entire controversy, the actress preferred to take the diplomatic route. "I have only love for all my team members. Shraddha is a good actress and has a good role to play in it. Rest my producer and cast and crew can explain." Talking about the controversy, producer Anubhav Sinha said, "Accidents happen while shooting and it's not a big deal." Coming strongly in support of Mannara was none other than Priyanka Chopra who said, "I have been injured many times while shooting it. People who are new in the industry should understand that films are a lot more than just showing off. It is important to understand that accidents happen. I don't think anyone will hit deliberately with a stick." Surprisingly, Shraddha has been missing from all promotions of the movie. When quizzed about it, Anubhav said, "That's our promotional strategy." Keeping an actress away from media spotlight! Wonder what sort of a promotional strategy that one is.
