Bengal superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee, who last made an impact in Dibakar Banerjee's Shanghai, is all set to be a part of the Hindi remake of the Malayalam film <em>Traffic</em>. The film also stars Manoj Bajpayee.
Talking to us Prosenjit confirms, "It’s true that I have been offered <em>Traffic</em>. It is a very interesting plot and I really liked the script. In principle, I have acceded to the offer but we are doing the paperwork now. If everything falls in place, I will sign it soon."

The film will comprise of an ensemble cast. Meanwhile Prosenjit is excited and looking forward to work with Manoj. "We all know that he is a gem of an actor. As for my role, I can't say much except that I play a Bollywood superstar who goes through an extremely stressful emotional situation concerning his daughter," he adds.
The film is the story of a single night and how the Bollywood superstar juggles between Mumbai and Pune for his daughter's heart transplant.
It may be remembered that earlier, Prosenjit was almost finalised for Shoojit Sircar's political thriller film Jaffna. However, the actor who didn’t find the role convincing, later backtracked.
