Rajkumar Hirani to choose between Shahid and Ranbir for second lead of P.K.

Like always Rajkumar Hirani’s films create a lot of buzz. So is the case of his next titled P.K. Initially, the Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma pairing raised a lot of eyebrows as did Imran Khan’s inclusion in the film. The latest is while Aamir plays the lead, there will be another lead in the film. As it will be a younger role, Hirani is considering either Shahid Kapoor or Ranbir Kapoor for it. Said a source, “Both are popular actors and share a healthy rivalry in addition to a good friendship. Since Hirani is impressed with their work profile, he has considered them for the role of the younger character in the film. He will make his decision soon.” According to Hirani’s spokesperson Shahid and Ranbir are the only two names being considered to play the younger lead. This will be Aamir’s second film with Hirani, after the mega successful 3 Idiots and as per the source the film would start rolling December end (2012). Hirani has kept the script under wraps and in no mood to reveal anything.
