Ramayana the Legend of Prince Rama to hit the theatres; here’s everything you need to know

We are talking about the 1992 animated movie ‘Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama’. Every time a Ramayana movie or serial comes out, the audience, especially the 90s kids go back to this 1992 movie which became the most educational content for a lot of kids those days in case of Ramayana as it was an animated version with the most accurate parts of the saga.

MUMBAI: We all know about the different versions of Ramayana that came, be it in TV serials or movies. The last version we saw was Adipurush and we all know how it went. Leaving the bitter taste aside and focusing on the sweeter side, let’s talk about the most famous and loved version which was neither a movie nor a TV series.

Now for all the Ramayana lovers, Excel Entertainment is here with a surprise that will leave you intrigued. Well, the production house has announced an official theatrical release of the movie and we are sure that this is going to bring a huge amount of audience into the theatres. Take a look at the announcement post by producer Ritesh Sidhwani, below:

For all the unversed, this movie was an epic collaboration between India and Japan but that’s not all. This product of creativity was a fusion style of animation that consists of three different schools of animation-Manga from Japan, Disney from the US and Ravi Varma from India.

The movie was directed by Yugo Sako, Ram Mohan, and Koichi Sasaki. It was released in Hindi, English and Japanese languages. The audience is really eager to watch this in theatres on 18th October.
