During his conversation with Mumbai Mirror, when he was asked if the actor had confided in him about Rishiji's cancer, he said, “He did. I was among the first few to know. We discussed what line of treatment he should take. I shared the number of my doctor with him and they spoke to him and told me what they had decided.”
He went on to reveal that when the Kapoor parivaar had returned from New York after the treatment, they all had dinner together just before Ranbir Kapoor's birthday on September 28.
