Ranbir Kapoor to play a cameo in Bhootnath Returns

B R Film’s Bhootnath that released way back in 2008 didn’t do well at the box office though it starred Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan among many others. As a matter of fact, the film flopped so badly that it sent the production house near bankruptcy. In spite of that, the production house has launched its sequel Bhootnath Returns that also stars the senior Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. It is being rumoured that B R Films hopes to recover from the financial disaster it went through with the film. To add more spice to the film, the makers have roped in Ranbir Kapoor to play a cameo. Tweeted Bachchan, "Ranbir Kapoor on set at Bhoothnath Returns, a small cameo for him... Generous of him!" The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series and Abhay Chopra of B R Chopra films. It may be well remembered that as a mark of respect to B R Chopra and his production company that nearly went into litigation, Bhushan Kumar approached Ravi Chopra and extended his hand of support to co-produce Bhootnath Returns. The film, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, also has Boman Irani and Usha Jadhav among others.
