Rani Mukerji missed Yash Chopra on her marriage day

Finally when Rani Mukerji got married to YRF head honcho Aditya Chopra, it was sans the usual band, bajaa and baarat that Bollywood movies so often depict. For someone who is known for spinning out Bollywood's biggest wedding themed money spinners, Adi's own wedding was devoid of any glam element. But that doesn't mean the charm was any less. A wedding in the Italian countryside is no less than a fairy tale one. And Rani herself admits that it was a beautiful wedding. "It was a beautiful wedding in the Italian countryside with just a few of our close family and friends with us," says Rani. While only close family members and friends were present at this intimate affair, one person whom both Rani and Adi missed was Yash Chopra. Speaking for both Adi and herself, Rani says, "The one person I missed terribly was Yash Uncle, but I know he was there with us in spirit and his love and blessings will always be with Adi and me." Rani has always considered her life to be akin to a fairy tale and the wedding with Adi too is no less than one for her. "I have always believed in fairy-tales and with God’s grace my life has been exactly like one, and now as I enter the most important chapter of my life - the fairytale continues," shares Rani. While congratulations continue to pour in for Rani and Adi, the actress didn't forget to thank her million fans for loving her. "I would like to share the happiest day of my life with all my fans all over the world whose love and blessings have been part of my journey all these years. I know that all my well-wishers who have waited for this day will be really happy for me." While we wish Rani and Adi a happy married life, we are a tad curious to know if Aditya posed for his own wedding album!!!
