MUMBAI: Massive protests in Badlapur have been sparked by reports of two four-year-old girls being sexually assaulted at school by a male member of the cleaning staff. People have been gathering to demand justice and punish the culprit since this morning.
Riteish Deshmukh denounced the crime at hand and called for the culprit to face serious charges on his X account. The actor says that schools should be safe places for kids, much like their homes, and he shares his concerns as a parent. Riteish goes on to describe how Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj used to punish such offenders and calls for the return of those rules.
Riteish writes, ''As a parent am absolutely disgusted, pained and raging with anger!! Two 4 year old girls were sexually assaulted by the male cleaning staff member of the school. Schools are supposed to be as safe a place for kids as their own homes. Harshest punishment needs to be given to this demon. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in his times gave the guilty what they deserved - Chaurang- we need these laws back in action. #BadlapurCrime''
