Riteish Deshmukh, the ‘sequel’ man is back again at his best, and he along with Tusshar Kapoor returns to tickle the funny bones of viewers with Kya Super Kool Hain Hum, produced by Balaji Telefilms. The movie is slated for release on 27 July 2012. Talking about the flick, Riteish shares with Tellychakkar.com, “This is a completely new story. I play the role of a good-for-nothing DJ Sid, while Tusshar essays a struggling actor. Our life is in complete doldrums and our only saving grace happens to be our dog Fuckruddin (Fuckru), who we use as Vicky Donor at a dog clinic to sustain our living.” On the genres that work in today’s scenario, the actor states, “All I would say is that the public today wants more shock value. It need not be in the sex category alone, but across different genres. Look at how movies like Kahaani, The Dirty Picture and Vicky Donor fared.” On the bolder version of comedy that prevails in today’s movies, Riteish says, “First and foremost, we need to make sure that the manner in which we say our dialogues is innocent”. Ask him if he has crossed lines when it comes to his dialogues, the actor adds, “There were many, but when I saw the cheque, I had to go for it. On a more serious note, morality is a very fluid line, what I might have felt as offensive yesterday might not appear that bad today. Having said that, our director Sachin Yardi has always guided us in such cases. I would also want to say that I do not like to swear on screen.” Interestingly, Riteish and Tusshar come together again after Kya Kool Hain Hum. “This was not a deliberate design; it is just that we did not get anything worthwhile. We both understand each other very well, and know when to give a punch and when to hold back.” Lastly, on his past and future projects, Riteish says, “I have a crime thriller, Masti 2. I want to avoid sequels from now on, as I want to try out something original. My earlier attempts Aladdin (fantasy based movie) and Rann (social movie) did not work, while Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya (romantic comedy) worked.”
