Ruslaan actor Aayush Sharma breaks silence on people calling Arpita Khan 'kaali'; Says ‘Kis baat ke liye ek skin ke colour ke peeche log haath dho ke pad jaate hain?’

MUMBAI: Aayush Sharma is the son-in-law of the Khan family as he married Arpita Khan, sister of Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, and Sohail Khan. Currently, Aayush Sharma is promoting his highly anticipated Bollywood movie, Ruslaan.

Aayush Sharma has stepped out of Salaman’s banner and shadow for the first time since he debuted. Ruslaan’s trailer offers a decent impression of an action-packed movie with an excellent plot. In a recent interview during the promotion of the film, Aayush candidly talked about the colorism comments that Arpita faced on the internet.

Aayush Sharma revealed Arpita Khan's reaction to people commenting on her dark skin color while talking to Siddharth Kannan. She tells Aayush that people have been calling her 'kaali' since she was a child. She doesn't care about what people say and that they can keep talking whatever they want. Aayush finds Arpita's attitude quite commendable.

Furthermore, Aayush says that he finds the whole discussion on her skin colour very funny topic. Aayush questions the colour of the majority of the Indians. He asks if everyone is fair. He says since he belongs to Himachal, he is fair. But even if someone has dark skin tone, what is so bad or wrong about it? "Kis baat ke liye ek skin ke colour ke peeche log haath dho ke pad jaate hain? Kyu? Sochne ki baat hai, hum log yahan bolte hain ‘Black Lives Matter’ America main. Aur yahan pe khud ke logo ka hi rang ka mazaak uda rahe hain batao," Aayush is heard saying.

Aayush additionally talked about how he became a businessman because of other individuals. He disclosed that his family is involved in politics. Having supported him all of his life, his father is a politician. He doesn't require any money. Aayush further mentioned hearing rumors that Salman Khan's family gave him a Bentley and a sherwani studded with diamonds as a dowry.

In response to these rumors, Aayush joked that he was still waiting for these gifts. Regarding comments suggesting that he wed Arpita to gain fame in Bollywood or money, Aayush questions whether people genuinely believe Arpita is that naive.
