MUMBAI: Indian actress Saiyami Kher has been in the acting world since a while now. The actress stepped into the acting world with Tamil movie Rey which released in 2015. The actress then made her Hindi movie debut in 2016 with Mirzya. She received a lot of appreciation for the role. When talking about big screen movies, Saiyami Kher was last seen in the 2023 movie Ghoomer. The movie featured Saiyami Kher along with Abhishek Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan, Ivanka Das and Shabana Azmi.

Ghoomer was based on Saiyami Kher’s character Anina, who on the eve of her international cricketing debut, loses her right hand. While Anina loses all her hopes, there comes Paddy (played by Abhishek Bachchan), a failed cricketer who comes as a coach for Anina.

The movie did great in theatres and even received a lot of love on OTT. Today the movie will finally have its World Television Premiere. In an exclusive interview with Tellychakkar, Saiyami Kher opened up about working with Abhishek Bachchan.

When asked about her experience with Abhishek Bachchan, and that one thing she discovered while working with him, Saiyami Kher said, “I had actually worked with AB before Ghoomer on a show called Breathe. So we were very familiar with each other, with the way we work but Ghoomer he was entirely a different person as he has worked with Balki sir before and the equation Balki sir has with him probably because it was one of his earlier films he did and his dad was in the film as well. So the equation they share is very different, the bond they have is very different. And he is so receptive and so open to everything…but the one thing that fans, usually with AB people say ‘bohot masti karta hai, he is so fun-loving’ woh sab log toh jaante hai but for me, it’s the amount of preparation he puts in his character is something which I really admire. For me the takeaway was that after doing 80 and more films, after going through all that he goes through, he puts in so much preparation and for me that’s a big learning”
