MUMBAI: Well known face of the Indian entertainment industry Sajid Khan is known for directing movies and is a humorous personality. He is the brother of well known choreographer Farah Khan and the son of celebrated filmmaker Kamran Khan. Kamran Khan was a prominent filmmaker, actor, and director, known for his movies such as Watan Se Door, Ilzam, and Beqasoor. Despite his successful career, Kamran Khan faced a huge downfall during his financial losses and addiction towards Alcohol.

In a recent interview Sajid recalled the dramatic change in his life after their father lost all his money. Khan revealed that his father's difficulties began after deciding to make a high-budget film featuring Sanjeev Kumar. Unfortunately, Sanjeev Kumar left the project mid-way, causing drastic financial losses for Kamran Khan. Reflecting on this, Sajid said, “My father used to make B-grade entertaining films with Dara Singh. When Farah was born, he was doing well. When I was born, he experienced his first flop! He probably thought that having a son meant he should aim for bigger films. He decided to make an A-grade film with Sanjeev Kumar, but it was never completed. Sanjeev Kumar left halfway, leading my father to lose all his money. This led him to become an alcoholic, and eventually, my parents divorced.”
Sajid Khan had also participated in Bigg Boss 16 where he recalled his father’s death. The traumatic event left a profound impact on Sajid.
During this challenging phase, it was only Salman Khan’s father who helped Sajid’s family. Sajid recalled how, after his father's death, Salim Khan came to the graveyard and gave them some money, which provided crucial support during their time of crisis.
