Salman Khan never killed black buck, says producer Ranjeet Sharma of Quaidi No 210

Humsafars gets a new slot for a week; Muh Boli Shaadi to replace

Now a film on Salman Khan’s infamous black buck shooting case is all set to roll and giving wings to the same is producer Ranjeet Sharma of Mumbai Can Dance Saala fame. The Mahurat shot which took place yesterday in Filmistan studio had a Salman Khan lookalike Usmaan Khan playing the lead role of the superstar and shots showing him incarcerated in a jail were filmed. Interestingly, Salman’s real life prison mate in Jodhpur prison, Mahesh Saini has been signed on to play himself in the movie.

The movie which is certain to attract controversy doesn’t leave producer Ranjeet one bit flustered. To avoid all the legal hassles, Ranjeet has obtained the necessary permissions from the jail authorities (a document that he refused to share with us citing legal complications).

Said Ranjeet, “ I have been attracted by real life stories. I chose this subject because even I grew up in Rajasthan. I know the real issue and I also found Mahesh through I have come to know the real and true story of the case. I will expose the truth through this film something that people don’t yet know.”

As per Ranjeet, Salman has already confessed his guilt to a crime that he never committed. “This film will show Salman in a positive light. There is absolutely nothing negative about this film because he hasn’t done anything at all. He has confessed to committing the crime to save someone. So he has sacrificed himself for someone. I got to know this through Mahesh and I also have resided in Jodhpur. So who killed and why I know everything. And who that someone is you will have to see the film to understand.”

When asked if he has obtained Salman’s permission to make the film, Ranjeet said, “Salman is God to me and to enter the temple you don’t seek God’s permission. And even if Salman gets angry, I know how to appease him.”

Ranjeet however remained tightlipped and refused to reveal details on who he has cast to play the roles of Saif, Tabu and Sonali Bendre who too were implicated in the case.
