MUMBAI: Sanam Teri Kasam has made it big this time with its re-release. The first time when the movie was released it was 2016 and while it did not perform well at the box office, the emotional reactions from the audience spoke volumes.
Now, in 2025, after 9 years of its initial release, the movie has hit the big screens and it has got not just old fans back but new ones as well. Finally, the movie is getting its due success and it’s so powerful that even new releases are feeling the weight.
Harvardhan Rane is recognized and loved very much for his role in the movie as the main lead. The character’s journey, his emotions and his chemistry with the female lead Mawra Hocane has all touched the hearts of audiences and this time, the box office has reflected this love very well.
In an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar, Harshvardhan Rane revealed something important for a lot of actors when asked about his career after the movie.
The actor said, “This I want to break out for a lot of actors out there ke protagonists ki casting, 90 percent ho chuki hoti hai, secondary and tertiary actors ki casting baad mein hoti hai. Toh it will never happen ke I have to go and ask for work as the protagonist, they are very smart, the producers, they are looking.”
Sanam Teri Kasam had a massive 6 Cr collection on a Sunday and even did an amazing 3-3.5 Cr collection on a Monday. These numbers are amazing for a Hindi movies in recent times.
