Sanjay Dutt on way back home after getting a 14-day furlough

After being granted a 14-day furlough, Sanjay Dutt is on his way back home. The Khalnayak actor had earlier applied for a furlough from the jail authorities in Yerwada citing that he was going through major health issues. It has been reported that the aging actor was in pain from blood clots in his legs and also suffered from high blood pressure. Earlier, Dutt had applied to the Pune police for a 30-day leave from jail but his request was turned down. Dutt has been in jail since May after being convicted in a 1993 Bombay blasts case after the Supreme Court had upheld his conviction under the Arms Act in March, 2013. Of the total of five years, Sanjay has already served a-year-and-half behind the bars.
