Satish Kaushik, who has earlier directed films like Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, Hum Apke Dil Mein Rehte Hain, Hamara Dil Aapke Pass Hai, Milenge Milenge and Tere Naam among others, has for the first time helmed his first comedy in the form of Gang of Ghosts, the Hindi remake of the Bengali film Bhooter Bhobishyot.
The project has all ingredients of a masala movie like song and dance, drama, romance, action and even an item number along with some food for thought.
Apart from directing the film, Kaushik has also penned the dialogues. Here it may be interesting to note that he had written for the 1983 runaway comedy hit Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro.
Recently after wrapping up the film, Kaushik went ahead to thank his cast thus, “Thanks my ensemble cast and crew for bearing high temperature in Surat and yet sharing my passion for shooting Gang Of Ghosts."
Gang of Ghosts, a product of Venus Records and Tapes Pvt Ltd. stars Mahie Gill, Sharman Joshi, Chunkey Pandey, Anupam Kher and Saurabh Shukla and marks southern actress Meera Chopra`s entry into Bollywood.
