She said : Navratri is the festival of fasting and feasting. It is also the time to rejoice and have social gatherings. The nine-day festival is celebrated with diverse traditions across the country and notable and I love playing dandiya because of the joy and enthusiasm that comes with it, as well as the social connections and sense of community that the dance can create.

The actress made her Bollywood debut in Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Mangal and is also popularly known for her acting in the television show “Kya Haal, Mr Paanchal” is a trained dancer.

She shared, "I'm a great dancer, I'm a 8 years trained dancer in Bollywood hip hop. And now I'm learning classical to enhance my skills. So dandiya & garba raas is also something that I love, as it is also a way to offer our praying to Goddess Durga. The clicking of dandiya sticks, rhythmic music, laughter, and vibrant costumes create an atmosphere of devotion, love, and joy. It can help us to create a sense of community and unity."

Sejal who previously was crowned the winner of India’s biggest teen beauty pageant – Miss Teen Diva 2022, wants to become Miss World feels the festivities is also a learning time.

She concludes stating, "Navratri is a festival of devotion that can teach many lessons, such as the importance of acknowledging and accepting both positive and negative emotions. Suppressing or repressing emotions can lead to further suffering. The festival can also help us find the courage and inner strength to face challenges. And most importantly Navratri honors feminine power and teaches the importance of respecting and supporting women."
