Last night, Juhi Chawla and her spouse Jay Mehta who also happened to be a co-owner of the IPL team KKR alongside SRK were photographed driving away from KD Hospital in their blue sedan. They avoided interacting with the photographers and reporters who were seen outside the hospital.
Speaking exclusively to us, Juhi shared Shah Rukh’s health update. “Shah Rukh was not feeling too well last night but he is being attended to and was feeling much better this evening. God willing, he will soon be up, and in the stands on the weekend, cheering the team, as we play the finals,” she said.
SRK’s wife, Gauri Khan, was also seen arriving at KD Hospital shortly after the news of his hospitalisation broke online. Meanwhile, daughter Suhana Khan is back in Mumbai with close friends Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, and Navya Nanda and was papped at the private airport.
Juhi and Shah Rukh’s friendship dates back to the early ’90s. The duo has worked together in several films like Darr, Yes Boss, Duplicate and Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani.
After defeating SRH by eight wickets on Tuesday, KKR qualified to the IPL 2024 finals. Juhi stated after the significant victory, “It’s such a good feeling! We are all so happy, so thrilled, proud and so thankful of the team… they have played consistently well throughout the tournament and reached the finals. Every year, we wish and hope for this exhilarating moment and today, it is actually here – the prestigious trophy is just one game away. IPL is such a tough tournament with the best of the best cricketers from across the world playing and competing. Their skills, stamina, strength are tested to the extreme.”
Juhi concluded by saying that everyone is hoping, praying, and excited that, ten years from now, KKR will return with the trophy to Kolkata and make all KKR supporters proud of their team.
