MUMBAI: Last year, Shah Rukh Khan had the most spectacular return to Bollywood with films like Jawan, Dunki, and Pathaan that shattered box office records. Following a string of disastrous box office runs, SRK took a four-year hiatus. However, upon his return, he demonstrated that victories are always more powerful than defeats.
Apart from being a superstar, he is also an amazing family man at heart. He is a loving husband to Gauri Khan and a doting father to Abram, Aryan and Suhana Khan. The actor’s wife Gauri once revealed, “He is the best husband and father I could ever ask for. I always say that I am so fortunate to be with Shah Rukh Khan, the man.”
Shah Rukh Khan once said that he was totally against actors and celebs who have let go of their wives and girlfriends for their careers. He said, “I really don't understand this big sh*t about sacrificing this for my career and that for my career. I mean, why can't you have both? Why are you looking for excuses for your neglect towards your family or wife or girlfriend? And even if you have neglected your personal life for your professional one, what makes you so proud of it? You have no right to hurt people who love you.”
Shah Rukh Khan also once revealed how he kept a work-life balance. He said, “I have a personal life. I have friends, a girlfriend, an uncle, an aunt, and a sister, and they are the most important people in my life. I am just trying to say that I do not care much for the frills that come along with this profession. I do not want to go astray and lose myself to this world like the others. I want to keep in touch with reality. I want to keep in touch with myself.”
