MUMBAI : According to the latest reports, Shah Rukh Khan has become the highest-paid actor of 2024. The Bollywood superstar scored three successes in 2023, defeating South Indian stars Rajinikanth, Prabhas, Thalapathy Vijay, and Allu Arjun, as well as Bollywood icons Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, and Akshay Kumar, to claim the prestigious position on the list. The list of the top 10 highest-paid actors of 2024 did not include Amitabh Bachchan.
According to a Forbes list created using information gathered from IMDB, SRK allegedly charges between Rs. 150 crores and Rs. 250 crores for each film. Rajinikanth, the superstar of Tamil cinema, follows Shah Rukh. Between Rs 150 crores and Rs 210 crores are purportedly his fees. Vijay Thalapathy comes in third. He reportedly charges between Rs. 130 crore and Rs. 200 crore for each project.
Prabhas alleges to charge between Rs 100 and Rs 200 crores, follows Vijay. Aamir Khan finishes the top five. He reportedly charges between Rs 100 crore and Rs 175 crore for each film. Salman Khan is ranked sixth, is speculated to fees between Rs 100 crores and Rs 150 crores; Kamal Haasan, who is ranked seventh, is also reported to charge between Rs 100 crores and Rs 150 crores; and Allu Arjun, who is ranked eighth, is reported to charge between Rs 100 crores and Rs 125 crores.
Bollywood’s Akshay Kumar and Ajith Kumar round off the Top 10 list. While Akshay is believed to charge anything between Rs 60 crores and Rs 145 crores, Ajith allegedly demands Rs 105 crores. News18 couldn’t verify these figures at the time of publishing.
According to a Business Insider report, Shah Rukh Khan has an estimated net worth of Rs. 6300 crores. Aamir is said to have a net worth of Rs 1862 crores. Salman is estimated to have a net worth of about Rs 2900 crores. Akshay has been reported to have a net worth of about Rs 2500 crores.
Rajinikanth's estimated net worth in the South is Rs. 430 crores. It is estimated that Prabhas has a net worth of Rs 348.55 crores, while Vijay's is approximately Rs 474 crores.
Every celebrity on the list is working on several high-profile projects. For instance, Shah Rukh is rumoured to be starring in King by Sujoy Ghosh, while Rajinikanth is working on two major projects: Vettaiyan and Coolie. This month, Prabhas will dazzle the crowds once again with Kalki 2898 AD.
