Shatrughan Sinha’s son Luv reveals real reason for dad’s surgery; says, ‘there was no surgical procedure’

Fans of Shatrughan Sinha have been waiting for an update on the actor's condition since he was admitted to the hospital. Luv Sinha, the son of Shatrughan Sinha, has now verified the rumor that his father has been admitted to the hospital and provided an update on his current health.

MUMBAI: Days after his daughter Sonakshi's marriage to Zaheer Iqbal, veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha was admitted to the hospital. Although the first reports stated that the actor was there for a normal checkup, it was later discovered that on June 25, 2024, he tripped in his dining hall and injured his ribs. In addition, a few days ago, Sonakshi and Zaheer were seen leaving the Kokilaben Hospital, sparking speculation of the former's pregnancy.

Luv revealed, “My father had a strong fever and we decided to take him to the hospital so that he could recover and we could have his yearly tests done as well.”

Shatrughan Sinha fell on a carpet in his dining room while he was getting up from the sofa, according to an earlier Times Now article. Seated just next to her father, Sonakshi was able to grasp his hand right away. Shatrughan Sinha's family reportedly called for medical assistance after the actor experienced pain in his ribcage, and he subsequently had surgery.

Luv further said, “I have been going there (to the hospital) every day, so (I) can tell you that there was no surgical procedure.”

On June 23, 2024, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal exchanged vows, surprising a lot of people with their union. Sonakshi and Zaheer are an interfaith couple; nevertheless, Sonakshi did not become an Islamic convert in order to become married. Nonetheless, many did not hesitate to express their animosity against the recently married pair, even going so far as to label their nuptials as "Love Jihad." Sonakshi and Zaheer remained silent about the criticism, although the actress removed comments from her wedding photo post.
