MUMBAI: The new season of The Kapil Sharma Show started with Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn gracing it to promote Bell Bottom and Bhuj: The Pride Of India. In the latest episode, Kangana Ranaut marked her presence and promoted Thalaivii, which is based on the life of late actress and former CM of Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalithaa.

Kapil began by showing her old clip from his show. The comedian took her back to the time when she had visited his show to promote Rangoon with Shahid Kapoor. The video featured Kangana sharing her views about Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
Once the video was over, she had a good laugh and said, "When coronavirus wasn't there, I was busy. And when the COVID-19 pandemic hit the nation, aisi velli hui main. Lockdown laga toh Twitter pe main aayi aur lockdown jaisa hi khula, Twitter ne mujhe ban kardiya" (I joined Twitter when lockdown was imposed and by the time lockdown restrictions were eased, the platform banned me).
The actress shared that she couldn't survive for six months on the platform. "Mere pe itne cases hogaye (the). Kam se kam 200 FIRs har din mere upar hoti thi. Aur uske baad unhone mujhe khud hi ban kardiya. Aur maine kaha chalo, bala tali." (Translation: There were many cases against me. On a daily basis, 200 FIRs were lodged against me. And later, Twitter decided to ban me).
