MUMBAI: One of the most loved Bollywood movies of all time is 3 Idiots. The movie which was based on the life of engineering students and their dreams was immensely loved by the fans all across. Over the time the movie had made a strong mark in the hearts and Minds of the fans. How can we forget the amazing chemistry between the three leads, Rancho, Farhan and Raju, played by Aamir Khan, R Madhavan, and Sharman Joshi respectively. 

Looking at these actors in the movie we won't be wrong in saying these roles were written for them only, but for all the Three Idiot fans do you know these actors were not the first choice for the movie? As per reports, Hirani’s original cast for the film was supposedly Shahrukh Khan, John Abraham and Saif Ali Khan. Shah Rukh Khan was offered the role of Rancho (played by Aamir Khan) but he declined it in favour of “My Name Is Khan”.

Not only this it is also said that even Sanjay Dutt was supposed to have a cameo in the movie, but that never happened. Also, Arshad Warsi was offered both the roles of Farhan Qureshi and Raju Rastogi but he turned it down, reportedly due to date issues
