Simi Garewal talks to Tellychakkar.com about her comeback plans

The last time one saw the gracious Simi Garewal on celluloid was way back in 2009 in a movie called Shortkut- The Con Is On. The movie unfortunately didn't do well and Simi took a sabbatical from films, focussing her energies more on her television shows rather than Bollywood. But the ‘lady in white’, as Simi is fondly called, is still not averse to returning back to Bollywood provided she finds something worthwhile that will suit her mettle. "Bollywood is still my first love and films are the reason why I entered this industry in the first place," said Simi. The yesteryear actress also expressed her immense happiness at the progress Indian cinema has made today. "We are on par with the West today in terms on technology. I am also happy to see the films that are being made right now and it's a great phase that Indian cinema is going through currently." Talking about her comeback plans, Simi said, " I am a very difficult person to cast. I have been receiving a lot of offers but nothing exciting enough to prompt me to return back. When I find a role that is exciting enough, I will surely return back." Let's hope Simi's comeback happens soon enough.
