Sonakshi Sinha avoids the paparazzi and hides her face ahead of the wedding with Zaheer Iqbal

MUMBAI: Sonakshi Sinha and her longtime partner Zaheer Iqbal are getting ready to tie the knot. The couple's pre-wedding festivities have started, even though they are taking vows on June 23. Sonakshi was spotted arriving at Zaheer's Mumbai home on Thursday night in advance of their wedding.

A video that went viral on social media showed Sonakshi's car arriving at Zaheer's house. To prevent photographers from taking her photos, the actress placed a bedsheet in front of her car and covered the window panel with black curtains. Later on, Sonakshi was seen getting out of the car and running into Zaheer's building after refusing to pose.

Sonakshi was seen at Zaheer's house with her parents, Shatrughan and Poonam Sinha. Later, at around midnight, Shatrughan happily posed with Zaheer and hugged the soon-to-be groom; they were also captured on camera leaving Zaheer's house.

Rumors were circulating that Sonakshi's sudden plans to marry Zaheer had offended her family. However, all of the rumours have now come to an end thanks to their pictures and videos.

In a recent interview, Shatrughan also addressed the rumors of Sonakshi's wedding and called those who are spreading it “lies” against his family. “Tell me, whose life is it anyway? It’s just the life of my only daughter Sonakshi, whom I’m very proud of and immensely fond of,” Shatrughan told the popular news portal. “She calls me the pillar of her strength. I will be there at the wedding, certainly. Why shouldn’t I and why won’t I?”

The well-known news website discovers that Sonakshi and Zaheer's wedding will not be an intimate affair because several of Bollywood's biggest stars will be present to offer the couple blessings and love. Actors Aayush Sharma, Huma Qureshi, and Varun Sharma are expected to attend the wedding, according to a source close to the couple.

Salman Khan has additionally received an invitation. Along with other co-stars from Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, Sonakshi has extended an invitation to Fardeen Khan, Taha Shah Badussha, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Sharmin Segal Mehta.
